Warburton is nestled in the Yarra Valley, east of Melbourne. It is one of Victoria’s iconic mountain getaways on the city’s outskirts. Boasting vast native forests, century-old redwood trees, quiet creeks and waterfall walking tracks, alongside a charming vintage township brimming with local character, it is a favourite weekend retreat for many Melburnians. This tour has been newly upgraded. While retaining the classic highlights including the redwood forest, township and La La Falls, we have added the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden to the itinerary. Its seasonal garden vistas replace the Rainforest Gallery, which is temporarily closed due to safety concerns. The route weaves together four distinct landscapes: botanical gardens, forests, a country town and waterfalls. The whole trip is by direct coach with ample stopover time. Featuring easy light hiking, it is perfect for weekend travellers seeking relaxation, photography and fresh mountain air.

Tall trees, lakes, lawns and valley flower borders blend together, presenting distinct colours across all four seasons. It is one of Melbourne's most iconic mountain botanical gardens on the city's outskirts.
Cement Creek Giant California Redwood Forest: Rows of towering straight redwoods soar skywards. The forest is filled with stunning dappled light, perfect for dreamy forest photos. A quiet, restorative hidden gem ideal for photography.
Warburton Historic Township: Enjoy unrushed free time to explore. The coach stays parked on-site with no hurried transfers. Visit bakeries, popular motorbike photo spots, candy shops, the famous swinging suspension bridge and unique treehouses. Lunch is at your own arrangement; shop, eat and take photos at your pace.
La La Falls Easy Hike: Follow gentle forest trails to reach the waterfall. Listen to the babbling stream under thick tree cover. You will have plenty of time for photos and rest. No steep climbing along the way.

10:30–11:30丨Explore the botanical garden, photograph flower gardens and woodlands, and take breaks

11:30丨Depart for the Redwood Forest

12:20丨Arrive at Cement Creek Redwood Forest

Important Reminders:

Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early. No late arrivals; the coach will not wait. If you miss the coach due to lateness on the tour day, it will be treated as a voluntary forfeit of the tour, and no refund will be issued. The coach only stops at designated stops. Pick-up or drop-off mid-journey is not permitted.

Weather Policy: Mountain weather is unpredictable and forecasts are often unreliable, while tour arrangements need to be finalised in advance. The tour will proceed in light rain or showers. It will be cancelled or postponed in heavy rain, storms or worse weather conditions. Please monitor updates in the tour group chat if weather or itinerary changes occur. Recommended Packing List

Footwear: Non-slip comfortable sneakers / light hiking shoes. Trail surfaces in the forest can be damp. Leather shoes and high heels are strongly discouraged.
Hiking Aids: Knee braces and lightweight trekking poles (highly recommended to ease strain on downhill sections).
Sun & Wind Protection: Wide-brimmed sun hat, buff, and outdoor sun-protective clothing. UV radiation is strong in the forest.
Layered Clothing: Quick-dry base layer, thin long-sleeve top, and windproof shell jacket. Dress in layers so you can add or remove garments as needed.
Backpack: Large-capacity backpack. Shoulder bags and handbags are not recommended.
Food & Hydration: Lunch is at your own arrangement in the town. Bring small snacks and energy bars. Carry approximately 1–1.5L of water for the whole trip; electrolyte drinks are optional.
Emergency Gear: Compact rain jacket and small torch, to cope with sudden mountain showers and dim shaded sections along trails.

Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy

Full refunds will be issued if the tour is cancelled, aborted due to the operator's reasons, or disrupted by force majeure events. If the tour proceeds as scheduled and you withdraw due to personal reasons, refunds will be processed under the following terms:

100% refund for cancellation requests submitted 3 full days or more prior to departure

50% refund for cancellation requests submitted 2 days prior to departure

No refund for cancellation requests submitted 1 day prior to departure or later. Please note.

No refund will be granted for no-shows due to personal reasons, and all associated consequences shall be borne by the participant.

Substitution of Participant

You may replace the registered participant with another person if notification is made by 20:00 one day before departure. How to substitute: Send the details of both the original and replacement participant to customer service.

Tour Rescheduling (Switch to Another Tour on the Same Departure Date)

Once the refund cut-off time has passed, you may only switch to another tour departing on the same date. If you change tours for personal reasons, you are responsible for any price difference, and no refund will be given for any price gap.

Procedure for changing tours: Place a new booking for the same-day tour, then submit a refund request for your original order. Customer service will process the refund within 7 working days.
